PROPOSAL FOR OVERSEAS TRIP

This is my proposal for the overseas trip that you are keen on. The objectives of this overseas trip are to broaden their horizons, aware of the cultures and be a global citizen. After going through the three brochures you have provided, the councilors and I have chose Hanoi as the most suitable country for the students to visit.

Firstly, they will be more aware of what the Vietnamese had gone through in the past. They will be able to witness the thousands of exhibits and authentic photographs of the victories of the Vietnamese people as they struggled for peace and independence.

Secondly, they will also be able to see the imprints left behind by the past dynasties; visiting the cultural sites, viewing the rich architecture and majestic pagodas. This also includes visits to handicraft centers, war museums, and viewing of traditional music and dance performances. This will help the students boost their awareness of the Vietnamese culture.

We specifically chose Hanoi as it is the most worth it, considering that the cost includes three daily meals if we sign up for a guided tour. The students will also be able to enjoy the trip and learn to appreciate their culture. They will have more new experiences and develop a sense of belonging to their own country, appreciating for what they currently have. We thought that this would be rather safe as the tour is guided, hence this will minimize the chances of placing the students in danger.

I personally think that this is the best choice and therefore, I hope that you will take on this suggestion and approve it. Thank you.

PROPOSAL FOR OVERSEAS CULTURAL TRIP

Good Afternoon, Mr Ang, I am here to explain which one of the three options for the overseas trip the student councils have decided to select and the reasons of it. All of us know that to have a pleasant trip, education is necessary in the trip and budget should not be crossed unnecessarily, but not forgetting to maximise the value of the trip. We have come to the decision of choosing Hanoi, Vietnam as the destination. So here are some reasons on why we chose Hanoi.

The objective by the end of the trip is that we hope the students get to learn the culture, history and tradition of Vietnam. At the same time gaining experience of taking care of themselves and staying 10 days overseas with their friends. After the trip they are also able to share their adventurous experience with their schoolmates which will also broaden the knowledge of their friends about Vietnam.

All of us are living in this modern world where other countries’ culture is not something we are familiar with. In this trip, students will be brought to the traditional village where they can learn how to make some handicraft, and they will also be brought to the pagodas and some cultural sites such as the war museums to learn about the history behind it.

The students are also able to exchange culture with the Vietnamese residents and watch spectacular traditional music and dance performance played by the. Vietnam is our neighbouring country thus with first-hand experience with the Vietnam culture, the students are able to expand their knowledge on our neighbouring countries.

In conclusion, as the perspective of the President of the Student Council, I thus feel that trip to Hanoi holds the most value for the students in terms of education and experience. It will definitely be an amazing trip which the students will never forget!

PROPOSAL FOR SCHOOL’S CULTURAL TRIP TO HANOI

Dear principal,
I the president of the student council has decided to  choose  the “Visit to Hanoi !For just $988” for the cultural trip .
We have chosen this trip as it has the most culture in the country. It also comes at a reasonable sitting nicely in between the highest and the lowest values of $1699 to $688.Therefor we have chosen this Hanoi visit over the trip to Australia and China.
Basically why China was rejected was that its safety level is very much lower in fact, the China has the lowest safety level amongst the three countries. Based on the crime rates, Hanoi has a much lower crime rate than China. Therefore Hanoi is safer than China.
Australia maybe the best country of them all, being the safest and the most modern; but it is too expensive and it does not really focus much on the cultural aspects as much as Hanoi.
Furthermore, Hanoi has over a thousand year collection of history. Its museums trips and visits during the ten days visit can enable the students to learn more.

The other reason Hanoi was chosen was because of the long period of ten days given for the holiday. This extended period of time is what makes the Hanoi trip more valuable and productive.
In order to ensure the increase in cultural awareness of our students, I do hope that our school’s students would come to Hanoi and see for themselves the imprints left behind by past dynasties. I am sure that those rich architectures, cultural sites, majestic pagodas, will enrich their knowledge after being witnessed. Thank you for your time.

PROPOSAL ON WHICH DESTINATION TO GO FOR THE TRIP
I am Acolex, the President of the Student Council, and I am speaking on the behalf of the Student Council. All of us are glad that you are keen on providing us with the opportunity to broaden their horizons by traveling overseas. You had kindly provided us with three options to ponder upon. After much deliberation, we had decided to choose to head over to the province of China.

According to the various researches we conducted on Sydney, Hanoi and China, we discovered that China is the best place to visit in terms of safety. It has the lowest crime rate among the three cities. In Sydney, there is a high chance for the students to be victims of racism as citizens of Australia are notorious for racism. As a result, students might suffer from emotional distress. In Hanoi, it is oblivious that there is a brief history of pedophilic events. As a result, the students might fall prey to perverts.
As you know, a trip to China would cost lesser than a trip to Sydney or Hanoi. For one person, it would cost an approximate sum of six hundred and eighty eight Singapore dollars. This is affordable as compared to the one thousand six hundred and ninety nine dollars for a trip to Sydney and the nine hundred and ninety eight dollars for a trip to Hanoi. This means that more money would be saved for the school and this money saved could be used up for future school events.
If the trip to China was made possible, students who go on this trip would be able to gain the experience of climbing a mountain, which is Mount HuangShan. Students would be able to be more appreciative of Chinese culture and be more aware of Chinese history.
I hope that you would consider of what was mentioned above and let the students to head over to China for the educational trip.

Our school will be providing students with the opportunity to travel overseas to broaden their horizons. The student councilors have come to a conclusion that we should go to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. I am going to explain to you why we chose Vietnam as the destination.

The reason why we chose Vietnam is because the students will be able to learn more about the history and culture there. There are many cultural sites which include war museums and many other places which will enrich the students awareness of other cultures. Moreover, there are three daily meals provided and a guided tour. This will ensure our students safety and comfort.

Hence , I strongly urge for my choice to be considered as it covers all the areas concerned.

Thank you for your precious time.

PROPOSAL OF OVERSEAS TRIP

My fellow councillors have chosen one of the three options for students to go overseas to broaden their horizons. We have chosen Sydney, Australia.  Later on in this proposal I will tell you why we have chosen this option.

The first reason why we have chosen Sydney is because, there is no communication barrier in Australia. The main language in Australia is English which is also the first language used in Singapore. If we go to China or Vietnam, there will be a communication barrier which does not allow us to fully understand and enjoy the trip. Also it is safer to be a in country where you can understand what they are saying. If we encounter any dangerous or difficult situation, we can ask for help easily without any misunderstanding.

The package trip to Sydney allows us to appreciate and experience two different types of lifestyles. Firstly, we will visit Sydney Opera House which is a multi-venue performing arts centre in the Australian city. Secondly, we will be experiencing a two-night farm stay which will allow us to appreciate the idyllic life of farm accommodation. Although the trip is slightly more expensive than the others, we believe that it will be more enjoyable. We can learn how the locals there live, which very few students might experience with their hectic lifestyle.

We will also learn different learning points. We will learn to appreciate what we have during the two-night farm stay. And experience farming that we cannot experience in Singapore. We will also learn the social behaviour of the locals there and enjoy myriad nightlife activities for young people

I hope you will agree to our proposal, and execute the trip for students to help broaden their horizons.

Subject: PROPOSALS FOR AN OVERSEAS LEARNING JOURNEY

I’m writing this proposal to propose to you a trip that will broaden the students’ horizons. The place that we have chosen to visit is Hanoi, Vietnam.

Why choose Hanoi? It has a long and rich historical culture of about 1000 years which I’m sure that students will be fascinated to study and explore their traditional ways of living. On top of that, the trip will be guided by a professional tour guide. This is beneficial as students will be able to knowledge directly from him or her. In addition, meals are provided regularly for the students. They would not feel lethargic and fatigue from the activities planned for them.

From this trip, the students are able to gain knowledge and have a better understanding of Vietnam’s culture by exploring the rich history and arts of Vietnam, they will be able to better appreciate the arts and music of Vietnam. Furthermore, the students will learn to treasure Singapore’s heritage and take pride in shaping their own unique way of life. Lastly, this trip is value for money.

Since there is a tour guide to guide them along throughout the journey, their safety are assured. Also, as their meals are provided regularly, students do not have to buy their own food. Thus, they will not wander around and go missing. In addition, they will not consume contaminated food by accident.

This trip is going to benefit the students, improve their contextual knowledge, broaden their horizon, be more aware the other cultures so that they will be a global citizen who is able to appreciate other cultures and Singapore. Thus, it is a good opportunity for students to go to this trip and widen their knowledge. I hope you will consider my proposal. Thank you..

Proposal to Sydney, Australia
In this ever-changing world that revolves around technologies, man can now no longer succeed without a globalized mind of knowledge and strength in communication skills. Therefore, I’m here to propose to you an 8-day overseas trip to Sydney, Australia where students will have a chance to appreciate culture and expand their horizon further.
Objective of this trip is to allow students to create an interest in the area of history studies and cultures. For instance, they can visit the Sydney Opera House and learn about the literature of the aboriginals of the country. They get a chance to communicate with locals and further learn about their lifestyles which is completely different from us in Singapore. Experiencing an overnight in a two-night farm-stay program, students can enjoy the idyllic life of farm accommodation. All these arranged-programs aims to increase awareness of cultural differences, expanding their knowledge and gives students a great chance to bond and have fun together as a team.
Safety of students will be kept at maximum. I recommend a small group of no-more than 30 students, preferably from the Secondary express 3 with excellent conduct in classes with good attendance. Students shall be supervised by three teachers with one that knows basic first aid and CPR in case of emergency. During the hotel overnights, teachers should conduct room checks and strictly forbid boys entering girl’s dorm and vice versa. Lastly, all lights will be out by 11.30pm sharp to ensure students get enough rests for the next day.
Value of trip may be expensive, but it will be worth the value. After all the knowledge and experience gained is priceless. Those in the Financial Assistance Scheme should be allowed for a withdrawal of up to $350 and I sincerely request the school to subsidize further too by an amount of $250.
“Nurturing a leader in every learner,” says our school’s motto. By sending students abroad, we are increasing their knowledge of other countries and giving them a chance to explore, to be adventurous about learning new values that would be needed to excel in the coming future. I really hope you will give your greatest considerations and approval for my proposal. Thank you.

PROPOSAL ON SCHOOL OVERSEAS TRIP
After a serious thought about the three brochures spanning on three countries, I decided to choose China!!! as the next oversea trip destination.
Reason mainly because of the affordability of students in our school. With a cheaper fee on the trip, most students will then be able to afford it and thus able to broaden their knowledge through the trip. Despite the low cost of the trip, some poor and needy students may still not able to afford it. Therefore, we may subsidise parts of the cost.
Secondly, will be the variety of food in China. With these, they will able to experience more food choices and expose to their delicacy culture which our country does not have such as West Lake vinegared fish and Nanjing saltwater duck. Hence they can understand the culture through the food.
Thirdly, is the scenery and natural landscape of China such as Mt. Huangshan and ancient Jiangnan water town. They may then reflect about the differences between China and Singapore as China has more natural scenery and landscape such as mountains and waterfalls whereas Singapore are mainly made up man-made skyscrapers and buildings. They may also encounter the fast-paced changing and developing China for example they will be going to the most developed cities in China, Shanghai. Hence increasing their knowledge on development of China.
Fourthly and lastly, will be considering and concerning the safety of the trip. We will be sending a teacher to take charge of five students and he/she will also be around them all the time to give clear instruction and look after them. With these, they can also monitor the discipline of the students so that they will not be too noisy and disrupt or annoy the people there.
Therefore,we hope to gain your support and agree to this proposal. Thank you for reading this proposal.
